Dr. Matus joined TIND in 2003. Previously he had worked in the Dallas area for many years before joining TIND. He is a people person. He takes pride in making sure he has spent enough time with each and every patient. Dr. Matus has interests in all aspects of Neurology but is a diagnostician at heart. He likes acute care neurology but also does several Neuro Diagnostic procedures like EMG/ NCV as well as EEGs and Carotid Ultrasound. He has been the Medical Director of two inpatient rehabilitation units in the Texoma area. Dr. Matus also has keen interest in vestibular dysfunctions and non-medical ways to help alleviate this difficult problem.

He and his wife Amy live in Sherman with their twin children. He loves to spend time with his kids and participate in their school activities. He likes to ski and is very active in his church.
